Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most iconic and adventurous treks in the world. The trek through the Khumbu region of Nepal that takes you past ancient monasteries, Sherpa villages and glacier valleys, ending at the foot of the world’s tallest mountain at 8,884m.
This exciting trek begins after scenic flight to Lukla and the trail winds through Khumbu valley with ease and slow walking and experiencing Himalaya’s atmosphere with greenery hills mixed with dense Rhododendron and deep forest making EBC trek even more special and exciting.
Ascending through Lukla, taking a few rest in between and experiencing Sherpa’s culture, one of the beautiful cities in Himalaya welcomes you with mountains at every angle of your sight. Namche Bazaar provides you everything you need making your trek smooth and easy, for example: fantastic accommodation, beautiful scenery, himalaya culture and much, much more making your 14 day trek unforgettable. Ascending through Namche Bazaar altitude gets higher, air got thinner and ask you more to reach Everest Base Camp which is why this trek difficulty level is considered as moderate to challenging. Through the Namche Bazaar, you’ll cross suspension bridges draped in colourful prayer flags and walk through Sagarmatha National Park ( One of world Heritage Sites ) and pass through Tengboche, where you’ll get your first look at Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam at the same time rising together over the Khumbu valley which is the closest point to Everest Base Camp.
In a short time, you’ll stand at the base camp of the world’s highest peak on Earth and the first point to the summit where every great mountaineer starts their journey to summit this mighty 8,884m mountain. On top of that, you’ll also witness surrounding huge mountain walls, colorful tents and snowy peaks at every angle making this trek as an unforgettable journey of your whole life
Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu
We will welcome you warmly at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival and ensure a comfortable transfer to your hotel. When you check in, you can relax and freshen up. We meet your trekking guide later in the day for a comprehensive briefing. In this session, we will be covering the trekking itinerary safety procedures. Our team will carefully check your trekking equipment and provide assistance if necessary.
Day 02 : Fly to Lukla (2,860m) & trek to Phakding | 25 min fly + 3 hours walk.
Thrilling mountain flight to Lukla and descend along the Dudh Koshi river
Day 03 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) | 6-7 hours
Steep climb to the Sherpa capital, first views of Everest on the trail
Day 04 : Acclimatization — Namche Bazaar
Rest day with a hike up to Everest View Hotel (3,880 m); explore the market
Day 05 : Trek to Tengboche (3,860m) | 5-6 hours
Trek crossing Dudhkoshi river to Tengboche Monastery (3,860 m) with dramatic Ama Dablam views
Day 06 : Trek to Dingboche (4,410m) | 6-7 hours
Descend to the Imja Valley, overnight at 4,410 m — first significant altitude gain
Day 07 : Acclimatization – Dingboche
Hike to Nagarjun Hill (5,100 m) for 360° views of Island Peak and Makalu
Day 08 : Trek to Lobuche (4,940m) | 6-7 hours
Pass the Thukla memorial chortens for lost climbers and continure ascending to Lubuche.
Day 09 : Trek to Gorakshep (5,100m) | 4-5 hours
Reach EBC at 5,364m via the Khumbu G00er after lunch at Gorakshep.
Day 10 : Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m ) and return to Pheriche (4,270m)
Pre-dawn climb to Kala Patthar for sunrise over Everest and descend to Pheriche.
Day 11 : Trek back to Tengboche| 5-6 hours
Retrace toTengboche, via Pangboce
Day 12 : Trek back to Namche Bazaar | 5-6 hours
Day 13 : Trek back to Lukla | 7-8 hours
Final long day to the airstrip town Lukla celebrate at the last day of the trip.
Day 14 : Fly back to karhmandu

Altitude sickness, also known as Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), is a common risk for trekkers heading into high elevations. On this trek, you’ll be spending extended time above 3,000m and reaching altitudes exceeding 5,545m at Kala Patthar and 5,360m at EBC.
